Strategy&

Hey everyone,

Does anyone know if Strategy& is currently recruiting in Riyadh, or if they have recruited recently? I’ve been checking their careers page for quite some time now, but I haven’t seen any consulting roles (entry-level) posted at all.

Thanks,

I strongly recommend you reach out to the recruiter.

These things can change pretty quickly, so it's worth having the info straight from the source.

That aside, make sure that you target several firms at once. Targeting just one can be problematic because bad luck can work against you.

Strategy& is active in Riyadh, and the Middle East is one of their strongest regions. No public postings does not mean they are not hiring. Most MBB and tier 2 firms in the Gulf fill entry-level roles through referrals, campus channels, and direct outreach, not job boards.

A few things that help.

Reach out on LinkedIn to associates or consultants in the Riyadh office. A short, polite message asking about openings and a quick chat works better than waiting for a posting. Gulf offices are usually responsive.

Check the PwC careers portal too. Strategy& sits inside PwC Middle East, so roles sometimes appear under the wider PwC umbrella.

Look out for Strategy& recruiting events or campus visits in the region. Alumni and referrals from those events open doors.

Be patient. The Gulf consulting market hires in waves, tied to project pipelines. Roles can open suddenly.

Good luck.

hey there :)

They do recruit regularly, but hiring there is very “wave-based” and not always reflected on the careers page. Especially for entry-level roles, a lot happens via referrals and direct recruiter outreach rather than open postings.

if you haven’t seen roles for a while, it likely just means they’re between hiring cycles, not that hiring stopped. middle east offices (incl. Riyadh) tend to open roles in bursts depending on project demand.

best move is to network with consultants/recruiters in that office and try to get a referral, that’s often much more effective than waiting for a posting to appear.

Alessa :)

Hi there,

Yes, this is quite normal for Strategy& in the Middle East, especially in Riyadh. They often don’t keep entry-level roles open continuously on the careers page. Instead, hiring is typically:

  • Project-demand driven rather than constant intake
  • Often done through campus recruiting cycles or referrals
  • Sometimes roles go live only briefly and close quickly

So not seeing postings doesn’t necessarily mean they’re not hiring — it just means they’re not actively advertising at that moment.

If you’re targeting Riyadh specifically, your best approach is:

  • Try to network with consultants in the office
  • Ask about upcoming hiring needs or timelines
  • Push for a referral, as this can help you bypass the need for an open posting

Also, keep checking regularly — roles can appear and disappear quickly.

Happy to help you think through how to approach networking for Strategy& if useful

My understanding is yes.

However, you're doing this wrong.

80% of job hirings are warm not cold (i.e. contact with the firm).

Cold applying via a portal, linkedin, etc. just doesn't work.

Network.

Not only will that help you understand if/when they're hiring but it will also seriously increase your odds of getting an interview.

Two birds one stone.
