Seeking Tips & Practice Materials for KPMG (Israel) Written Case Study Exam

I have a written case study exam coming up next week at KPMG (Israel), and I’d really appreciate any tips or recommendations you might have to help me prepare effectively.

If anyone has experience with KPMG’s written case format—especially in Israel—or can share insights on what to expect (structure, timing, key skills tested), that would be incredibly helpful.

Also, I’d be very grateful for any sample case study exams or practice materials you can share or recommend.

Hi there,

The written case format is rather similar across firms - so I wouldn't worry as much about it being from KPMG or Israel.

That might make it easier for find resources here on the platform but also more generally online.

The main thing to have in mind, compared to live cases, is that presentation matters a lot more.

The KPMG written case (including in Israel) usually tests structured thinking, prioritization, business judgment, and clear communication. Expect a packet of info (charts, exhibits, text) and a short time frame to produce a slide or two plus possibly a short summary or recommendation. Focus on extracting the key business issue fast, building a logical structure, and using data precisely to support your argument.

Practice with BCG written cases or Oliver Wyman written case examples—they’re closest in format. Also helpful: time yourself doing mini-cases, and practice building concise slides with a strong headline message. Clarity beats detail.
