I recently got screened out from the recruitment process at Bain in the MENA region after I took the test. I understand that its because I didn't do well on the assessment.
If I apply to other offices for Bain in SEA or The Nordics, will the application ban still apply to me?

I'm sorry but the ban does apply to you. Unfortunately you're going to have to wait approx. 12 months to re-apply.
Learn from your mistake here and make sure to prepare in full for the assessment next time (lots of practice tests, getting a coach if you're struggling, etc.)

The ban is normally global. However you may try to (i) find a referral in one of those geographies and (ii) disclose the previous rejection and check if they may be able to help.
I would wait at least 6 months before trying that, so that you can show some improvements in your CV as well.

Focus on applying to other firms in the meantime.
