Question about

Revenue: usage of sold cars?

Hey all,

Trying this case here, and for the profitability question (2.2), im quite confused as to what usage of sold cars means, and this has made it hard to figure out how to calculate the revenue. Would greatly appreciate some help.

Thank you!

Hi there! Totally normal to get confused. Cases will sometimes give you extra words / details to flood you with extra things you don't really need. Just focus on the key points. In your case, the part you're highlighting simply means how many cars were sold at that specific hub.
I'm giving away 3 free interview prep calls this week! Happy to schedule one in with you

Hi there,

I would be happy to provide the solution:

  • The "AMG Manufaktur" is a specific production site. Therefore, "expected AMG Manufaktur usage of sold cars" indicates the proportion of cars sold that were manufactured at this specific production site.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen
