Hello alI I am in contact with former senior Mckinsey Partner, think as senior as it can get. I have not yet asked for his referral. But how helpful can he be in giving me referral at least I can get an interview. My CV is ok as I got an interview with BCG and I have done a top MBA. Can he only refer me where he worked or almost any offices? And will his referral even counts for anything? And also we talk on many topics what is the best way to ask him for referral? Now We are at the stage we talk often on different topics. Also I got rejected at Mckinsey at CV screening, so can he still help without waiting for a cool period?. Now I just interviewed with BCG, though I didn't get in so I would love to have another interview asap if possible. Thanks in advance for your contribution.
