Partner referral after application submission?

If I have a chat with a partner once I've submitted an application, can I indirectly ask for a referral in that conversation? Can they still influence it? What should I do?

Hi there,

Yes, definitely do so. It is better to get a referral before you apply, but it may still have an impact on the outcome even if you receive it after the formal application.

Best,

Francesco

Hi there,

Indirectly is the key word here. Yes you can "hint" for a referral by indicating that you've already applied and thanking them for the time. If you like you can ask them if they have any advice for you.

That's the extent to which you can ask for a referral.

Good luck!

Never hurts to mention that you have recently applied. Will it make a difference, hard to say with no visiblity of your profile but best case scenario, the partner will drop a note to the recruiters with words of support.

Good luck!

Hi, I confirm she can have an impact on the application, accelerating the invitation process. Talk about it without explicitly ask for it

best,
