Offer letter not in... hmm.

Hi, I've submitted my personal details on 6/5 to the HR. But till now there ain't any replies from HR despite emailing them twice separately and no replies. What could possibly happen? No more offer? Hahhaa. I guess I'll find new job again! hahha

Its about 2 weeks. That is ok. Keep following up every 1-2 weeks. It is probably just HR being busy.

Hey there!

I get how frustrating that silence must be, especially after taking the time to submit everything. But don’t panic just yet, HR teams can be slow, especially if there are internal processes, approvals, or holidays involved. The lack of reply doesn’t necessarily mean the offer is off the table. If you’ve already followed up twice, I’d give it a few more business days and maybe try reaching out via LinkedIn or even calling if you have a contact number. Keep your options open, but don’t assume the worst just yet!

best, Alessa

Congrats on receiving your offer!

Sorry to hear about the delay. For major consulting firms (MBB, big 4, well known boutique), it’s almost a guarantee that you’ll receive the offer letter in due time.

I wouldn’t worry too much.

I'm sorry to hear.

I wouldn't worry about it. Sometimes it just takes a while and they might have more urgent things to deal with.

I haven't yet heard of situations of them giving out verbal offers and then just ghosting a candidate.

Best,

Cristian

Relax. Now they have to decide on terms, starting date, etc.

Of course, this should be their highest priority... they definitely don't want to secure the candidate they selected because they took too long.

But... just like the interviewing process, sometimes takes too long.

Hi!

Congrats on the offer - I'd recommend you chill and follow up once every week if this persists.

A delay after an offer is probably internal deliberation e.g. sign on bonus, moving bonus etc.

Hi there,

If this is a reputable company, that is probably a busy season. Keep following up with them every week, if you have a personal contact within the company, reach out to them too.

Best,

Mari
