No update on Bain Oslo, completed assessment, partner-referenced application

I applied to Bain's Oslo office and completed the assessment stage. Before applying, I had also spoken with a Partner there, who was comfortable with me referencing our conversation in my cover letter. Since then, I have not heard anything further on next steps. A few questions for anyone who's been through Bain's process, especially Oslo or other Nordic/European offices:

What's the typical timeline between completing the assessment and hearing about interview invites?
Does referencing a Partner conversation in a cover letter typically influence timeline or is it processed the same as any other application?
Is there a point where it's reasonable to follow up directly with recruiting, or does that risk looking impatient?

Timeline after the assessment: typically you might hear within a couple of weeks, but the invite depends on recruiting reviewing completed assessments in batches and lining them up with interview scheduling, so a slower turnaround of a few weeks is common and not a bad sign in itself, especially in smaller offices like Oslo.
The partner reference: mentioning a partner conversation in your cover letter is not the same as a formal internal referral, where a partner actively submits and vouches for you through the system. A cover-letter mention is read as positive context and can help your file get a closer look, but on its own it does not usually change the mechanical timeline.
Following up: it is reasonable, and done right it does not look impatient. Once you are past the typical response window for that stage, a short, polite note to recruiting asking about next steps is completely normal and often appreciated. Separately, you could also send a light note to the partner mentioning you have applied and completed the assessment, as long as you are not asking them to intervene.
