MECE Structure for Market Entry

Hello, just want to ask for tips of how I could improve this structure. I just did an interview with one of the firm, and the interviewer said there are some overlaps in my structure.

Case Question: A high-end European CPG brand wants to enter the Asian market. Should they do it?

1. Is this market attractive?

  • Is demand large and growing?
  • Is this market profitable?
  • Is competition high in the market?
  • Is there any trends in the market supporting this entry (e.g. European seen as more premium)

2. Would our products fit this market's needs?

  • Are the benefits and positioning of our products correlated with needs and wants of a large segment?
  • Is the market lacking products with those characteristics?

(Analysis: Compare our benefits and positioning with other players' and with each segment's wants and needs)

3. Do we have capabilities to win?

  • Can we open up distribution channels in Asia? (B2C and B2B channels)
  • Any operational capabilities such as know-hows or people?
  • Enough funds to enter?

4. Can we hit financial target with this market entry?

  • What is the expected revenue (based on # of buyers and their spending)
  • What is the expected operating cost
  • What is the set-up cost required

In my view, I do not think there are much overlaps since even though questions regarding customers, competitors, and company appear in various buckets, they are asking different things, e.g.

  1. Customer:
    1. 1. Is the market attractive = how big are the customers in terms of amount and spending.
    2. While 2. Would our products fit = what is the customers' needs
  2. Competitor:
    1. 1. Is the market attractive = who are the competitors and what are their size
    2. While 2. Would our products fit = what is the competitors' product like?
  3. even the profitability overlap part in 1. and 4. which I got commented on are from different points.

Why aren't these be seen as different things?

It is not clear cut business situation framework, but isn't this is more tailored? Would it still make sense if I just group a bunch if questions related to customers into one box, but they all have different purposes?

What do you think? How could I make it to be more MECE while still considering case context?
