It seems there are two possible situations here:

1. They sent the rejection email by mistake
2. The person who contacted you should have contacted someone else and connected with you by mistake

I would contact HR to clarify that.

I believe they mixed things up internally. Either

• you got an interview and the rejection email was a mistake
• you got rejected and the mock interview was scheduled erroneously 

In any case, call HR to clarify!
