McKinsey Internship Opportunities for ongoing PhD Students

Hi all,

I was wondering if anyone has any advice for PhD students on internship opportunities at McKinsey?

I understand, from the website, that PhD students are allowed to apply for associate internship roles.

However, during a networking event, the HR reps from the firms mentioned that PhD students should apply for the Junior Associate track. Since there are no Junior Associate Internships, they suggested that I just apply for junior associate full time.

What do you guys advise?

Cheers
