I am a bilingual (English/French) candidate with MD and MPH, who recently applied to McKinsey France. I have already completed the McKinsey Solve assessment and am waiting to schedule my screening call with a recruiter.

Coming from an Advanced Professional Degree (APD) background rather than a traditional business/MBA track, I would love some insight from coaches or alumni on a few points:

1. Recruiter Screening Call: What specific topics/questions should I expect during this initial call in France?
2. Prep Focus for APD Candidates: For candidates coming from medicine/public health with no prior MBA, what are the most critical business fundamentals or casing areas to master before Round 1?
3. Language Dynamics: How are interviews typically split between French and English in the France offices for fully bilingual candidates?
4. McKinsey France Specifics: Are there specific cultural nuances or differences in the casing and PEI style at McKinsey France compared to standard US/UK prep materials?
