I've seen a combination of case-based and technical interviews for KPMG in the past. If you could let us know the specific location then it's easier to advice specifically.

Yes, I've had a few candidates interviewing across tier 2 in ME. Most of the interviews were case based and candidate-led.
My recommendation would still be to reach out to the recruiter and ask about the format of the interview. The more you know in terms of what to expect the more targeted you can be with your preparation.
