does anyone know anything about Ricardo Consulting?
I was told that BCG hires Ricardo Consultants at an equal tenure Without loosing any years.

it’s all what you mentioned (brand,career growth, culture, projects, work-life balance). I excluded the money because I have an offer and I know they are not as high as MBB! But decent.
Ricardo has a division for Strategy Consulting called Ricardo Strategy Consulting ! aside from the engineering consulting and they serve Auto, Tech and Transportation Industries.
I wouldn't give it credibility to being comparable to strategy consulting at BCG or for them to be recognized by BCG as equals.

This is indeed an interesting question which is probably relevant for quite a lot of users, so I am happy to provide my perspective on it:
- Generally speaking, Ricardo is a global engineering services provider and as such their business is not very much linked to how strategy consulting is defined.
- While they consider themselves to equally be a strategy consulting company, I would assume that Ricardo simply wants to highlight that their actions are long-term sustainable.
- While the situation you describe might still be the case for industry experts highly sought after by strategy consulting companies, I would assume this is more the exception than the rule.

BCG giving equal tenure to Ricardo consultant's would be as nonsense as Ricardo giving BCG consultants equal tenure for engineering consulting.
So yeah, Ricardo is a reference in engineering consulting. Not in business consulting. In Engineering.
