International bewerben bei Absage in Deutschland?

Hallo zusammen,

Hi there,

First of all, congratulations on the invitations from BCG, Bain, and OC&C!

I would be happy to share my thoughts on your situation:

  • First of all, please be aware that large consulting firms usually share applicant data internally - so a rejection in Germany might influence decisions in other offices. Still, this varies by firm and office, and international applications can occasionally work. The worst you can get is just another rejection.
  • Moreover, please have a look at the Vault Consulting Rankings to explore more interesting consulting firms.

You can find more on this topic here: Boutique consulting companies.

If you would like a more detailed discussion on how to best prepare for your upcoming pre-interview assessments and/or interviews, please don't hesitate to contact me directly.

Best,

Hagen

Hello!! as common as this might be, i'm sorry that this is your case. MBBs (regardless the office) let you re-apply after 2 years (unless they offer you a "see you later" rejection which is essentially an invitation to apply next year). I would consider another industry that you might enjoy for now, or joining a boutique consulting firm to start gaining some traction! There are plenty of options outside of consulting that are also great so please don't lose your hope!!!

Hi there!

A temporary application freeze from one office is a temporary application freeze from that firm. Which means that you can't and shouldn't apply to them in a different geography.

There are however expections. And to manage for that, I'd recommend you reach out and discuss with the recruiters directly.

Best,
Cristian
