Hi Abhishek,

Q: I have not heard back yet - does anyone know whether they are released in batches? Or can I assume that I will not be receiving an invitation? 

Difficult to say, as it depends on how HR is managing the pipeline of applications in your particular office. 

• There could be multiple reasons why you have not been called yet. Rejection is one, but could simply be that they are doing the screening in batches, as you mentioned
• If you applied via referral, you may ask your connection if they have any insights/ can gently check with HR about your application 
• If you have not applied via referral, you can follow up with HR in 2 weeks with the excuse to check if they received your application

Give it a bit more time. Sometimes it takes a few days, even a week and it doesn't mean that you didn't pass. If it takes over a week then do reach out to the recruiter and ask if they have an update.

Hi there,

Not necessarily. Not all invites will go out on the same day. If you do not get an invite maybe two weeks after your friend - considering you applied at the same time - this might mean that you will be rejected.

Generally, if you have not received a rejection you should focus your efforts on preparing for the case and the PEI (on top of preparing for the Solve game).

Was your friends application for the same geography? That has a huge impact on the speed.
