I am having my interview at CIL Management Consulting in 2 weeks for the German Offices. Does any one already have experience with the process ?

Kunal,

Not directly, but I would encourage you to have a detailed chat with the recruiter and understand what their recruiting process looks like, how many rounds, how each round and interview is structured, what types of cases, whether they test only skills or also knowledge, whether they expect you to know about specific industries, whether for the personal fit interviews they focus on motivation questions or situational ones or story-based ones, etc...

The better your understanding of what to expect, the more tailored your preparation. So that's where I would start from.

Best,
Cristian

Hey Kunal :)

The CIL interview process in Germany usually has two rounds. The first one includes a fit interview and one or two quantitative business cases, mostly market sizing or profitability cases, quite data-heavy but straightforward. The final round often includes a partner case and a more conversational fit chat. They value structured thinking, confidence with numbers, and clear communication in English and German. Practice quick mental math and crisp structuring.

best, Alessa :)
