More info needed!

For a part-time MBA I’m not sure whether you’d be eligible for the same recruiting pathways as a full-time IIM grad (e.g., on-campus recruiting).

Nevertheless, if your engineering experience is with a name brand company and you have some management expertise, they may still be willing to hire you into a post-MBA role.

I’d strongly recommend reaching out to recruiters in your local office (to understand the current recruiting situation) and consultants (to secure a referral).

Happy to help craft your CV/narrative if helpful.

Spoke to some people previously from India office / IIM full time. Consensus seems to be that part-time programs are not really recognized versus the full time programs. MBB firms hire from the full-time programs.

Starting MBA Jan '26 but considering consulting now. Do MBB rejection bans affect MBA recruiting? Don't want to risk next year's chances but keen to try now if possible. Esp. curious if bans refresh for MBA candidates. Thanks!
