How to find a non-consulting job in Dubai

I am about to leave my current consulting job in Dubai.

Does anyone know of any good forums / methods to find a non-consulting job in the region (not linkeded, job boards etc.)?

You're asking for ways to find jobs but not through the 2 best ways? This is an odd approach...

Look, fundamentally, if you're looking for jobs you have three options

Network and have calls with people (i.e. LinkedIn)
Find jobs that exist publicly (I.e. job boards, linkedIn)
Get a recruiter to do it for you (i.e. contact placement agencies to get you a job. Most are on LinkedIn)

These are your 3 choices...and most leverage LinkedIn/Job Boards as the starting point

Exact Steps To Networking/Finding a Role

a) Reach out to people in your network

b) Reach out to people once removed from your network

c) Reach out to people with a similar backgorund to you (i.e. same alma mater, same historically underrepresented demographic i.e. gender, orientation, ethnicity, etc., same career switch, etc.)

d) Tailor a message to them specifically both showing interest in them and their journey and demonstrating that you have done your research and could be a valuable hire

e) Play "tag" across calls you get so that you can work your way towards the company/office/role you want

f) Never directly ask for a referral, but "hint" at needing one (this is nuanced and important...happy to talk through wording)
