There is no fixed interval, and anywhere from a few days to a couple of weeks after submitting is normal. I would treat the ten-day mark as the point where a follow-up to the recruiting team becomes appropriate, kept to three lines: thank them, confirm you are still interested, ask for an expected timeline.

If two weeks pass without an update, feel free to follow up with recruiting. In the meantime, focus on what you can control: your other applications, networking, and interview preparation.
There is no fixed public timeline. The assessment may arrive within days, take a few weeks, or not be sent, depending on the role and recruiting cycle.
Check the application confirmation, spam folder and candidate portal first. If the email gives a timeline, use that as your clock. If it gives none, a short follow-up after roughly two weeks is reasonable: state the role, application date and ask whether any action is outstanding. Do not resend the application or attach a new CV unless recruiting asks.
Prepare for the assessment while you wait, and keep other applications moving. Silence at this stage is not reliable evidence of either rejection or progress.
