Within my batch of candidates, they all received a live case (i.e., not written). 

However, I'd recommend you reach out directly to the recruiter to discuss this with them. It enables you to have more certainty as to what you can expect from the interview, plus it's a great opportunity to already build a connection with the interviewer.

I think this is an interesting question that may be relevant for many people. I would be happy to share my thoughts on it:

• First of all, based on the experience of my coachees, interviews with EY-Parthenon have always been in the standard format of both (regular) case study and personal fit part per interview, regardless of the region, country, and specific office.
• Given that you seem to have not even been invited by EY-Parthenon, though, I would highly advise you not to ponder on such rather administrative aspects and wait for the invitation in which the recruiter will certainly lay out all formats of your application process.

Should be a live case but… really depends on what is exactly the position you are recruiting for. If it is corporate growth / strategy, you'll definitely get a traditional case, with a good chance to have a component of market sizing.

If it is a Transaction Strategy Execution interview, then you may not get a strategy case, but more a mix of technical and experience interview.

Be aware that recruiting process with EY-P this depends on the specific country.
