With 7 years of experience it would be pretty surprising. Even if they did I would imagine it would be more of a formality and not really impacting your candidacy.

• With 7+ years of work experience, consulting firms, whether in Asia or elsewhere, generally focus more on your professional track record, not your academic history. I would advise you to not worry too much about your transcript - most likely, they won’t even ask for it.

That's very rare. I haven't seen any experienced hire being asked about transcripts by BCG nor Bain.

as far as I know: no, transcripts are usually not a critical part of the process, especially with 7+ years of experience. The focus will be much more on your professional track record, achievements, leadership, and fit. Some firms might still ask for transcripts for formalities or HR files, but they won’t play a major role in the decision.

Speaking from BCG POV in SEA (i have helped several Experienced Hires through the process), no it is not needed.

Just a CV will do.

Don't worry about it, especially if you have significant work experience.

Even when the transcript is required, if you have significant work experience, it doesn't matter as much, and the marks don't really matter.
