I think this is an interesting question that may be relevant for many people. I would be happy to share my thoughts on it:

Hi there,
The most important thing you can control for this is your resume. Get as good a resume as you possibly can.
I don't believe the selection involves the case interview or online assessment (It *might* include an online assessment, but I don't think so).
Don't worry, you will not be banned from applying full time! In fact, it's quite the opposite: If you get in, it helps
Hi there,
From what I know, there's no assessment involved, and it comes down to having a great resume that ticks the right boxes.
You also won't be banned from applying for FT roles if you fail to be invited. These things are held quite separate.
If you need help with your resume, please let me know.
Best,
Moritz
Hi there,
For Edad, the selection is based primarily on your CV. So make sure that it's in excellent shape and it stands out from the other applicants.
The event is also non-evaluative, so it won't have a negative effect on any further applications to McKinsey. It's a great networking opportunity, however.
Best,
Cristian
Hello,
The application is usually based on your CV, and you can still apply for full-time positions if you are not selected! Polish your CV, and there's no real downside in applying. Best of luck!
