Does Experienced Hire normally take BCG Potential Test?

Dear Fellows,

I am not sure whether you are aware that normally experienced hires take BCG potential test during first round interview or not? Is that specific applied to a certain regions? I got the test included in my first round interview and I am just wondering whether I shall ask HR is that a mistake as most of time i hear from my case partners and they told me that they do not get BCG potential test as experienced hire.

Thanks a lot.

Cheers!

Hi,

It depends on the office and the actual years of experience.

To add to Vlad and Guennael - not even every BCG office has to take the potential test - for example, at least until last year BCG London just had a small quantitative reasoning test and not the Potential test used in other regions.

You should definitely ask HR to be sure!

I would not worry, I know someone who has taken it in a European office as experienced hire with 3+y experience. Good luck!

Dear A,

It depends o the region and office. So I would recommend you to contact HR to be sure.
