Does BCG have a screener test like McKinsey SOLVE or Bain's Test Gorilla that they send out to candidates prior to any first round interview invite?

Hi there,

They do! It's called the BCG Casey Chatbot (though on occasion they use a different one)

I think the best approach is to hit a mix of free and paid resources. For example, especially for the Chatbot, I’ve found that free resources don’t always represent the most up to date versions/what you’ll see on test day. This is why I built my own Resource Guides (and BCG Chatbot simulations) - feel free to message!

Yes.

There have been multiple iterations of it over the past years, with differences across regions and roles.

The most common is the Chatbot, which replicates doing a live case only with a 'chat' - 'bot'.

You can find lots of resources online about it.

You will also stand to gain a lot by practicing other types of tests as well, from other firms. What these tests assess for is very similar across formats, so the synergies are huge.

Best,
Cristian

hey there :)

BCG usually doesn’t have a standard pre-screening test like McKinsey Solve or Bain’s TestGorilla for entry-level roles. Most of the time, they move straight to resume review and then first-round interviews, though some offices or specialized roles might have a short online assessment.

best, Alessa :)
