Does anyone know what the BCG Quantitative Math Test (QMT) entails? How to Practice for this?

I got into the next round of the business course for BCG Amsterdam and have to do a Quantitative Math Test (QMT). I do not know what it entails nor what I should do to practice. If anyone has insights, that would be great!

GMAT quantitative modules (and respective preparation material) should be a good preparation for that test. You can also check any materials available for similar tests from competitors (e.g. Mckinsey's Solve game).

Hi there,

The BCG Quantitative Math Test (QMT) is essentially a timed numerical reasoning test. Expect GMAT-style math problems: percentages, ratios, growth rates, word problems, and interpreting short tables or charts. It’s less about advanced math and more about speed, accuracy, and logical reasoning under pressure.

Best prep is to practice GMAT Problem Solving/Data Sufficiency questions or SHL-style numerical reasoning tests, and sharpen your mental math so you can move quickly.

Happy to help you prep – feel free to reach out.

It's a numerical reasoning test. For practice, you can look into old McKinsey PST test, GMAT tests, but also numerical reasoning tests from other firms (the skills can be deployed across firms).
