The format of the tests keeps on changing, so I strongly recommend you reach out directly to the recruiter to ask for more info on the format of the test, and ask whether they have any sample, or whether they recommend any places where you could practice.

They try to be helpful because they want you to succeed. And they are also the ones who have the most accurate perspective on the latest format of the test.

Best,
Cristian

Hi there :)

The PwC SHL assessment typically tests numerical reasoning, logical or inductive reasoning, and sometimes verbal reasoning. In some regions there is also a situational judgement part that looks at how you approach work situations and teamwork. The main thing is speed and accuracy with data interpretation, charts, and patterns, so practicing SHL style tests beforehand usually helps a lot.

Alessa :)

The SHL test covers three things: verbal reasoning, numerical reasoning, and sometimes a situational judgement test.

Verbal reasoning is just reading a passage and deciding if a statement is true, false, or unclear. The only rule: use what is written, nothing else.

Numerical reasoning is basic maths with tables and charts. The maths is easy. Speed is the real test.

Situational judgement is about picking the most professional, calm, client-aware response. There is usually a clear right answer.

Just practice a few timed SHL samples before you sit it. Not to learn tricks, just to get comfortable with the pace. That is usually enough.

Good luck.
