Do you see Strategy& Deals team as good as Strategy& generalist in Europe and APAC?
Deals team was under PwC and now under S& brand name. Are the compensation, reputation, progression and exit oppotunities similar to S& generalist? I see the Deals team pretty much do everything that the generalists do.

Check the online rankings! For me personally, I would view them as the same, but I can't speak to how the PE/VC industry views them.
Ultimately, my advice would be to move forward with the opportunity and test the waters! Network with people to better understand the team, proceed with interviews to see how you like the people/culture, etc. etc.
You have to look into the specific office.
External view here: most likely they will still have PwC processes / rules at this point, and will change in the medium term as they reconfigure that business line.
