No, you will not hear from Bain until they made a decision on your application. The Baine who referred you though will have to answer a set of questions about you internally (how they got to know you, what they value about you, etc).
Your application will be processed internally and depending on the office you will then receive a call to discuss your availability for the recruiting day or an email.
