Have an interview for M&A transaction team coming up, HR told me 1h case study and then 1h present it to the senior manager and partner.
Does anyone have experience in this?
Will it be a normal case or like build a 3 statement model??

Hi there,
This is a classic written case!
As in, it is neither a normal case nor a 3 statement model.
Normally, they will give you a prompt and a ton of data (more than you can handle in an hour). You need to ruthlessly sort through the information and quickly get to a conclusion with supporting data/information.
I have dozens of practice written cases (several in M&A) so feel free to reach out if you'd like to prep for this!
Normally what I do is:
1) Send you my mini course on how to navigate written cases effectively
2) Send you one practice written case 1-2 hours before our coaching session
3) In session go through your presentation (several different methods here), and break down your thinking, structure, data used, communication, response to questions, etc.
4) I send you another written case(s) for practice
This is a written case. Check out this thread for plenty of guidance & advice- https://www.preplounge.com/en/consulting-forum/written-case-interview-prep-9412
If you need Deloitte style templates and practice which will impress them, feel free to send me a direct message.
All the best.
