I'm interested in the corporate finance department at McKinsey (Germany).
Does anyone know what kind of background the consultants there mostly have (e.g. more bankers or inhouse consultants)? What sorts of projects do they work on? If anyone has some knowledge about this, I would really appreciat it.
I cant speak for the German office, but I can speak for the Nordic ones. Often finance-background, e.g. banking for experienced hires, and for entry level masters in finance or similar internship experience. Don't think its necessarily a must if you have strong knowledge though
