I applied to McKinsey last week and completed the Solve, McKinsey's game on Sunday. Today I received an email that reminded me to complete the assessment, and since I have completed it, the email asked me to reach out to a recruiter for further guidance. I have not received a response yet.
Does it mean there's something wrong with the game assessment? (maybe my performance is not recorded?) If so, is there anything else I could do? I am considering contacting the IT email.

Did you reach out to HR then as the email suggested? That should be your first priority.
Secondly, can you actually still access the game as per the reminder email? If so, something is faulty.
In any case, contact whatever email address you were given and let's hope this resolves itself without any intervention, which I suspect it will.

It looks like a bug. I would wait a few days and then call HR to verify if they received everything (no need to contact the IT team).

Having worked in IT building systems, my educated guess is that a trigger (timer) was built into the system to let all candidates know of x.date deadline….it likely does not filter the query on x.completed.
You should be ok, but definitely reach out to the IT email to make sure your submission was recorded.
