Coaching - full time or part time gig?

Hey guys,

Based on a question I saw here yesterday on becoming a PrepLounge coach, I got curious about one thing. Especially for the most active coaches here (e.g. Ian, Francesco, Clara, etc) any of you guys does this full-time or, in general, coaching is only a part-time gig? If so, how do you find the balance with another job without “burning out”?

Thanks.

Hi there,

I used to do it part-time (where I did consulting projects on the side). Now I do it full-time - but it took a long time and a lot of work to get here!

In short, yes, some coaches here do this rather full time but there are not too many of them.

Hello!

I would say for everyone is something done by the side, as it´s usually the case with people who teach, who write preparation materials, etc.

Cheers,

Clara

I am part-time and I believe most coaches are. It takes a while to move into a full-time gig.
