Change in company name

Hi experts,

I have passed the initial screening and am invited to the interview. I am an experienced hire.

Recently, the company where am I currently working has changed its name. However, in the CV I have mentioned the old name as that point in time the name had not been changed.

Will it create any issues in the documentation process?

Hey there,

This is a non-issue :-) If you feel like you want to clarify, you can shoot an email to HR explaining the situation (which in my opinion is not needed).

Fingers crossed for your application.

Cheers,

Florian

Hi there,

You should be perfectly fine here! The name change is registered so the background check shouldn't have any issues with this. If they do, they'll simply reach out at which point you can clarify.

No need to worry!

Hi there,

I can’t see reasons why this could create an issue. It would be a problem if you had reported wrong information, which is not the case. I would not worry about it.

Hope this helps,

Francesco

Ex-McKinsey / 100% offer rate / LBS / Principle driven / Real case/ If you get the interview, you should get the offer!

Hi there. I don't think this will cause any issue as you didn't intentionally lie about or hide anything. When/if this comes up at background check after you receive the offer, just explain it to the checking agency :)

Hope this helps!

Not an issue - if you get an offer then you can submit the new name as part of the background check proces.
