Context: I'm at a UK strategy / DD firm (upper mid-market PE focus), 3+ years in, target school background. I'm reasonably confident about getting through screening for BCG PIPE experienced hire (given my network), but I've been out of the application cycle for nearly four years, so I'm rebuilding from scratch on the interview / casing side.
On the process: Senior Associate / Consultant, PIPE, London:
- Which online test should I expect, and at what stage?
- How many case rounds, and how many interviews per round, how long is each interview?
On the cases:
- Are they predominantly PE / diligence cases, or general strategy?
- UK / European contexts, or global?
On preparation:
- Given the above, how would you recommend I structure a prep plan?
- Number of hours per week to prep and for how many weeks?
- Particularly interested in where to focus first given the four-year gap and being out of practice with casing and the ritual / textbook best practice of it all.
