BCG SEA time between R1 and R2

Does anybody know what is the estimated timeframe between R1 and R2 for BCG SEA?

I have an R1 scheduled on the last day of interviews (was given a period of 2 weeks to schedule and was assigned the last day) but have a 3 week overseas holiday planned 10 days later.

If I do progress to R2, is it possible to complete R2 within 10 days after R1, or am I likely to have to cancel my holiday?

Thanks.

Hi there!

Typically, the second round is organised within two weeks of the first round.

But it's important to know that they are flexible about the times, especially when you have other commitments. They're aware that you have other things going on in your life aside from the interview.

Basically, once you pass the first round and are informed by the recruiter, clarify with them the timeline of the vacation and ask for an interview before your departure time. They should be able to schedule it.

Hi,

I worked in BCG SEA. normally they try to schedule your second round within a week or 2, but sometimes that stretches to 3-4 weeks as the process may lapse.

Do note that you have to also take into the account the time it takes for the interviewers to score you etc, so even the results from R1 may take 1-2 weeks sometimes.

What i suggest is just to let them know your constraint - if you get passed to R2, tell them when you are/are not available and they will work around it.

All the best!

hi there,

Usually it is okay to share with the recruiting team that you already have plans made and would need to work around that constraint. They would either try to work out a schedule that fits (more likely they would try to do within the 10 days if possible), or otherwise suggest online interviews.

In any case, you don't necessarily need to cancel your holiday, but you might need to be a bit flexible in the dates and/or format.

Best,

Emily
