BCG Recruitment Process - Experienced Hires SEA

Hello,

I’m interested in opportunities with BCG and would like to learn more about the recruitment process for experienced hires in Southeast Asia.

  • After the online assessment, how many interview rounds are there? Are they all conducted live?
  • Do interviews with Partners/Principals include a case study component? Is this conducted live or completed online?
  • Is the case format similar to Casey, or is it more quick thinking and estimation (e.g., market sizing)?

hey there :)

for experienced hires in SEA at BCG, after the online assessment you typically have 2 interview rounds, both live, often virtual first and sometimes in person later. each round usually has 2 interviews.

partner or principal interviews still include a case, but it’s often a bit more high level and discussion driven, with more focus on judgment and communication rather than just structure.

the case format is similar to classic BCG cases, less like Casey, and more conversational with some estimation or quick thinking elements, but not purely brainteasers.

Hi there

Typically, you have two rounds, each with two interviews. Within each interview, you have a personal fit component and a case component. 

That being said, there are differences between firms and roles and review cycles, so it's best to check directly with the recruiter from that particular office.
