Hi guys,
I just received an invitation for the BCG Online Case Assessment, the last day to do it is the next Monday.
Do you have some info about the test? On what I have to prepare? Somebody that was in my situation?
Thanks a lot for your help!

Hi there,
Q: Do you have some info about the test? On what I have to prepare?
I reported some info below.

The BCG Online Case (also called Chatbot Interview) is an 8-10 questions test BCG started to use in the last years and now expanded globally. It is structured in 2 parts:

If you want to prepare for the Online Case in the best possible way, I created a software simulation replicating specifically the chatbot and one-way video interview.
It includes the following and more:

One update since this thread: if Casey is the assessment you're taking, I now have 10 full interactive Casey simulations based on real exams.
I'd still build the fundamentals through normal case prep, but there is real value in practicing the actual Casey format, question flow, and time pressure before test day.
You can find them here: BCG Casey Simulator: 10 Interactive Tests Based on Real Exams
I was one of those who dived in unprepared and failed gloriously!
My views:
Chatbot - Will support you throughout the interview. If your answer is slightly off, it will probe you further to assist you in your calculations, take that as a hint to re-calculate. But if you are confident with your answers, you can state so.
Questions - Cannot go back and forth. One way forward only. Answers cannot be changed. I could view the exhibit by scrolling up.
Math - Calculations were not difficult. Simple formulas are given. But the data I got was close to madness to even start calculating. I didn't know where to start.
Exhibits - Many metrics in one chart. I worked with one exhibit only.
Case - My case was mind-boggling. I spent most of my time staring at the screen. It is one case throughout the Chatbot and video interview.
Time - There is a timer on the top left or right of the screen. There is also a time reminder courtesy of the Chatbot.
Video interview - It was all related to the interview with the Chatbot earlier. You can sneak in some time before proceeding with the video interview as you will only click on it once you are ready.
Hope this helps!
