Hi,
I got referred for the associate position at the BCG India office. I had my interview rounds. 1st- Project Lead, 2nd- Partner, 3rd - Managing Director & Partner (MDP), HR said usually there are at least 4 rounds of interview or might even be over after 3rd round or might be more than 4 rounds- it all depends on the interview and all. I had my 3rd round a month back. I have been following up with the HR and she has always given me the same reply- Internal discussions are going on regarding the leadership hierarchy, vacancies, projects etc. I heard back for my second round 2 weeks after my first interview, and after a week after giving my 2nd round. The HR said it might even take one more month for the update (which will make it 2 months since I gave the 3rd round) and that she can't give me a proper timeline either.
What does this mean? What are my chances of getting the 4th round or getting an offer letter? Is there anything I can do from my end? How hopeful should I be about this?
