I’ve applied for an internship position at BCG Middle East and have been invited to participate in their Gamified Screening Pilot. The participation is optional, and they’ve mentioned that the outcome will not impact my application. However, there’s a deadline to participate, which I find a bit confusing. Does anyone have more insights or experience with this?

While they say it's optional, and the outcome won’t directly impact your application, taking it can still benefit you. It allows you to showcase your analytical and problem-solving skills in a different format, which could provide additional data points in your favor.

Seems to be a new test, not the Casey or the Cognitive Test.
If they tell you that it's not evaluated, then don't worry. ;-)

My guess is that they’re piloting a new online test and invited you as a beta tester. Based on what you’ve shared, this likely won’t impact your application.
