Hi there,

Congrats in advance for completing the MBA!

Regarding BCG Dubai, you can already apply from now on, and you can reference in your resume when you expect to complete your MBA (e.g. expected Dec 2025).

For the process, it is fairly standard across all BCG offices. You can find the details through this link: https://www.preplounge.com/en/articles/interview-bcg

My strong recommendation is to start preparing as soon as possible case studies, as this is the crucial part of the interviews. 3 months is a sufficient time to prepare, provided that you dedicate the right amount of time with the right approach

Happy to help you prepare for the interviews - I'm also based in Dubai :)

Best,

Oussama

Hi there!

You should definitely apply now rather than waiting until graduation. BCG Dubai (and other Middle East offices) recruit MBA graduates on a rolling basis, and spots can fill up quickly. Applying while you’re still in your INSEAD programme shows commitment and gives you the best chance to secure interviews before the main intake closes.

Interview Process (typical for MBA hires in Dubai):

  1. Online Application & Screening
    • Submit your CV and cover letter.
    • Shortlisted candidates are invited to interviews; turnaround can be a few weeks.
  2. First Rounds (usually 2 interviews)
    • Case interviews with project leaders or principals.
    • Each interview includes ~40 minutes of a case study and 10–15 minutes of fit/experience questions.
  3. Second (Final) Rounds (2–3 interviews)
    • Conducted by partners.
    • Same format (case + fit), but with more focus on problem-solving under pressure, business judgment, and your personal impact stories.

Overall, you can expect 4–5 case interviews plus behavioral/fit discussions across two rounds.

Since you are at INSEAD right now, talk to you class mates from BCG they are “ambassadors on campus” and can help you figure out the best way forward.

Hey there :)

You should definitely apply now rather than wait until graduation—Dubai recruiting is quite structured, and they like to line up candidates in advance. The process is usually two rounds: the first with consultants/managers (mix of fit and case), and the second with principals/partners, again both fit and case-focused. Sometimes they add a written case or presentation, but the classic two-round format is most common.

I also worked in the Dubai office and can say the process is very standard MBB, with a strong emphasis on structured communication and cultural fit for the region.

best, Alessa :)

You should apply right away. You want to start the process (and get the offer) BEFORE you graduate. Being unemployed after the MBA and only recruiting at that point can be of great stress, and if recruitment takes longer, you will start to feel anxious - performance will go down, and you're more likely to accept an offer to work at a non-ideal job because you feel stress out about the situation.

Recruit right away and for all the firms that you genuinely want to work for, and manage the process before you graduate.
