BCG CCA - Got an answer wrong

You do not need to get every answer right to pass the BCG assessment. There is a threshold, and clearing it is all that matters (so unless that one question was what stood between you and the threshold, I would not worry too much about it).

To answer your other question, tests of this kind are gates. Once you are through, the lion's share of the weight in the process sits with the interviews.

These assessments are designed to evaluate your overall performance, not whether you answered every question correctly. It's very unlikely that one mistake—especially on the last question—will determine the outcome.

Also, remember that you don't actually know whether you got it wrong. It's easy to second-guess yourself after an assessment.

As for the second part of your question, the CCA is primarily a screening tool. Once you move into interviews, your case performance and fit interviews become much more important than whether you got one additional logical reasoning question right.

My advice is simple: don't spend time replaying the assessment in your head. If you're invited to the next round, all your energy should go into interview preparation, because that's where you'll have the biggest opportunity to influence the outcome.

One wrong CCA question won’t hurt you. BCG doesn’t evaluate the CCA like a school exam where one mistake ruins the score. They look at your overall pattern: speed, accuracy, consistency, and how you handled the full set. Missing the last logical question is extremely common and not determinative.

The CCA matters only for deciding who moves to interviews. Once you’re in the interview process, it has no weight anymore. If the rest of your performance was strong, this single rushed question won’t block you.

I work with candidates in this exact situation every year. Missing one logic question will not automatically reject you. The system evaluates your overall performance.

Another thing people miss is how scores are used. The honest truth is the CCA is just a screening gate. Test results are not passed on to your interviewers. Every round is a fresh start.
