Alvarez & Marsal recruitment process

I just completed a video interview fro A&M KL office. I am wondering if anyone know what their general recruitment process (how many stages, what type of questions etc) is like as I was blindsided by one of their questions.

First, you're always going to be blindsided if you go in expecting x. That's the point...learn how to be flexible and adaptable to any question.

Each interviewer is a different human right? Therefore, wouldn't you expect the same variability across interviews as you'd expect between two individuals?

Please stop trying to predict things. Rather, learn how to think and adjust to anything.

Be ready for cases. Be ready for fit / behavioral. Be ready for market sizing. Anyone telling you x amount of stages and x types of questions is leading you astray.

How do you do this? My 360° Consulting Recruiting Course ties everything together.

Great!

As a next step, discuss with the recruiter in more detail what the interview process will be like. There's lot of info that they can provide which will help you be more tailored with your prep. They can explain what is the format of the interview, what sort of cases they focus on, if they focus on skills assessment or also knowledge assessment and so on. So prepare a list of question and have a chat with them. Then you know where to go from there.

Best,
