2nd round MBB interview

Do they give you date options for 2nd round interviews? Is there any flexibility on changing 2nd round interview dates? Especially if you work full-time and have other deliverables/work considerations?

They are typically flexible. If you call them and explain politely that this collides with commitments on your current job, that you can't move, they'll usually offer you a new slot. After all, being 100% committed to the job is what they expect from you, so they understand and appreciate if you do the same to your current position.

Exceptions exist, e.g. if you're currently studying at a target school that requires fixed interview dates from teh firms.

Hey there,

Yes, MBB HR is usually very flexible, especially for experienced hires, who have other commitments. Whenever something is unclear, give HR a call, tell them your situation and they'll find a workaround!

Cheers,

Florian

For experienced hires, they will typically have flexibility, even if they propose a specific date. There maybe exceptions if you are applying for a specific role where they are looking to fill one headcount (e.g., expertise based role).

Hi there,

Yes, the schedule is normally flexible, in particular if you work. If you have any issue, just call HR and they should be able to accommodate a slot that works for everyone.

Best,

Francesco

Hi there,

Yes generally they do give options and offer some flexibility. This is especially true if you work full time (you have a pretty powerful "excuse" for asking for different dates than offered).
