2 C’s on final transcript

Will this affect my full time offer at Big 4 consulting post MBA? I am scheduled to start in the Fall and worried about submitting my final transcripts when asked. I might have 2 C’s, with overall GPA 3.2. Will my offer be rescinded?

Nobody cares about your grades, you will be fine as long as you got the MBA.

Hi there,

Unless they made the offer conditional to a certain GPA (which would be quite unusual) I would not worry about it.

All the best for a great start!

Hey there,

You should be fine. In your case, sending the transcript would just be a formality.

All the best!

Cheers,

I don't think anyone can say definitively but it would be a surprise.  Good luck!

Hi there,

I would be very surprised if this was a problem.

Realistically, consulting firms don't care about grades, they care about your skills. Unless you obviously lied about your credentials in your CV or about your background, they have no ground to withdraw an offer. So don't worry about it.

Hello!

OMG, no! Once you have the offer, the transcript is just to make sure that you indeed went to that uni and graduated! You are safe!

Cheers,

Clara

Hi there,

You should be perfectly fine! You already have the offer in hand. The only thing that would really risk the offer is failing a few classes and physically not graduating. 2 Cs should be perfectly alright.

Hi there,

no, there is absolutely nothing to worry about. Some average grads are by no means a reason for firms to revoke an offer. They likely won't even check, besides making sure you actually graduated.

Also, in my experience, have never seen that happen anywhere.

Wish you all the best!

Regards, Andi

Dear candidate,

most likely this will not be a problem. Most of the time the offer is not tied to a specific GPA. They might say they want you to do well, but that is usually not defined in numbers. All the best.
