Which projects are you currently working on?

Hi,

thank you for this great format and I would be interested in the projects you are currently working on. Can you share some insights or if it's confidential maybe give some insights on projects you have worked on in the past? How technical does it get and is it possible to master the projects without a science or engineering-related background?

Thank you!

Consultant

In my 1.5 years at tkMC so far, I have been involved in 4 consulting projects. This has already given me an insight into various segments and allowed me to get to know the diversity of the Group. The projects were also very diverse in terms of content, ranging from the conception of a new pricing strategy to portfolio topics at corporate level and a PMO project. In my current project, my team and I are working on the business case for one of the businesses. Our main task here is to bring together the input from all the specialist departments in an Excel spreadsheet so that the Management Board can make the right strategic decisions and pass on the relevant information to internal and external stakeholders. With regard to the skills required, you definitely don't need a science or engineering background. Rather, you need to be proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, have a flair for figures and good communication skills. Over time, however, you also develop a good understanding of how the business and its products work.
