Salary range analyst roles Frankfurt am Main, Germany

Hi,

What would be a good and recent salary range estimate for finance analyst roles (or analyst roles in general) within the financial/banking sector for roles based in Frankfurt am Main, Germany?

I am applying for roles in Frankfurt to which I
have a suitable masters degree and a few solid years of financial sector experience. I’m mainly applying to international firms with a seat in Frankfurt.

I have tried searching for salary ranges online but they all seem to vary a lot.

Hi there,

The ranges vary quite a bit because “analyst” can mean very different things depending on whether you're looking at corporate finance, asset management, investment banking, risk, treasury, FP&A, or broader banking functions.

For Frankfurt-based finance analyst roles, I'd expect roughly:

• 0–2 years: €55k–75k base
• 2–5 years: €70k–95k base
• Senior Analyst / Associate: €90k–120k+ base

With your kind of experience, I'd generally expect to be targeting roles in the €80k–100k+ range. Excluding any bonus.
