I’m starting a new analyst role at J.P. Morgan in a few weeks (Frankfurt office), and I don’t come from an investment banking background.
Would really appreciate any tips on how to get ready (Excel skills, modeling resources, or useful videos).

If you don’t have prior IB experience, I’d focus on strengthening your Excel and financial modeling basics. Platforms like Wall Street Prep or Breaking Into Wall Street are great for that. PrepLounge also offers a few helpful finance resources and interview prep tools you might want to check out.
Also, get familiar with valuation methods (like DCF, comparables, and precedent transactions) and look into recent deals in your region to build context.
It’s also worth brushing up on accounting and PowerPoint skills. (slide formatting and attention to detail really matter)
