How do you prepare for group exercises?

Technical interviews are relatively easy to practice, but group exercises seem much harder. What preparation helped you the most?

A few things that helped me:

Check YouTube for some example assessment center / group exercises, just to get a feel for how they usually work
Think a bit about how you want to come across in the group, ideally collaborative but still confident
Practise structuring your thoughts quickly, as you usually don’t have much time to prepare
