I'm currently working on my bachelor's degree with a focus on finance, and I'm wondering whether I should start applying for jobs in investment banking now or pursue a master's degree first. Does a master's degree play a major role when applying for jobs in investment banking?

Usually it is a difference in the entry level. If you are already eager to start and able to get into the interview process - go for it. If you decide to do your Master degree later, there are options to do that too.
